Not quite ready for a Tiffany-signed Patek? Allow us to offer an alternative.
This yellow gold dress watch retailed by America’s most famous jeweler was crafted by Universal Genève, maker of some of the most notable watches of the 20th century, including the famed Polerouter.
Like the most well known Polerouters, it makes use of UG’s famed micro-rotor movement, a highly efficient and — in this particular case — beautifully decorated design that keeps the watch thin despite the presence of an automatic winding rotor.
Housed in a 35mm 14K yellow gold case with an acrylic crystal, a polished bezel, a screw-down caseback, and a signed crown, it features a handsome, sunburst champagne dial with stippling, applied stick indices, a gold ‘dauphine’ handset, an applied Universal Genève logo, and a ‘Tiffany & Co.’ signature. Powered by the Universal Genève Calibre 215-97 micro-rotor movement, it comes paired to a brown crocodile leather strap with an unsigned pin buckle.
If you’re on the hunt for a dress watch, why not spring for one with some horological cred — and incredible good looks to boot?
You won’t be sorry!
